Companion program
The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as outstate Minnesota and Wisconsin,
offer a number of cultural and recreational opportunities. The DPF96 location
at the center of the metropolitan area provides easy access to these attractions
by either private or public transportation. The goal of the DPF96 Companion's
Program will be to facilitate informal day excursions using primarily shared
or public transportation to attractions ranging from the Walker Art Museum
and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to the Mall of America to the Mystic
Lake Casino to the Minneapolis Rose Garden and the Lake
Calhoun Beach.
Further information on the Companion Program will be available on these pages shortly.
Child Care
The Organizing Committee will not provide child care but will provide a
list of licensed child care facilities convenient to the Conference. Persons
interested in child care should contact DPF96 for further information.

Sponsored by the University of Minnesota, the University of Wisconsin and the U.S. Department of Energy.
