Save by Pre-Registering
Pre-registration will offer substantial savings if the registration form
is received by the Organizing Committee with full payment by July 4, 1996.
The registration form may be submitted by fax or electronic mail if a credit
card is used for payment, or you can register online using the web (although we must warn you that the transmission of credit card details by this method is not secure). If you have trouble using the online registration form, you can download a text version here.
Forms received after July 4, 1996 or forms without
payment will be accepted, but participants will be not be eligible for the
pre-registration discount.
Where and When to Register
DPF96 participants may register between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m. Saturday,
August 10, 1996, at room 140 in the Tate Laboratory of Physics, and also during the opening reception at the Weisman Art Museum (from 6:00 p.m. onwards).
Tate Laboratory is 50 m from Northrop Memorial Auditorium
(which may be a more familiar landmark, should you need to ask directions).
The Tate Laboratory registration desk will also be open beween 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in room 140 during each day of DPF96.
Opening Reception
The opening reception will be held Saturday, August 10 from 6:00 p.m. to
8:30 p.m. in the University of Minnesota's Weisman Museum of Art, a short (100m) walk from Tate Laboratory.
Registration Fee
The registration fee includes participation in the Opening Reception, a
Conference Social Program and the Conference Dinner, a copy of the DPF96
Proceedings, and coffee breaks during the morning and afternoon of each day
of DPF96. Tickets to the Social Program and the Dinner for accompanying
persons may be purchased at the time of registration.
Discounted Pre-registration (paid by July 4):
- APS Member: $260
- Nonmember: $320
- Graduate Student, Retired/Unemployed Member*: $50
Non-Discounted Registration:
- APS Member: $320
- Nonmember: $380
- Graduate Student, Retired/Unemployed Member*: $75
*These registration categories do not include a ticket to the Social Program, the Conference Dinner or a copy of the DPF96 Proceedings.
Members of the European, Russian and Japanese Physical Societies may register
at APS member rates.
Invitations
The DPF96 Conference is open to all interested persons who register and
pay the appropriate registration fees. The Organizing Committee would be
pleased to provide an invitation to any person who requires one. Please
contact the Organizing Committee, if you would like an invitation.
